Side A is a collection of tracks, most of which will never see a formal release due to the loss of their project files. The tracklist was based on an idea for an album on which I worked in 2014 and 2015 that due to said loss never happened. This seemed like the most fitting way to get these tracks heard anyway.
Side B (Music for Spaceports Part I-IV) is a set of four incidental music style "synthetic field recordings". These were jokingly named after Brian Eno's classic because they are intended to be played in the background to enhance your physical surroundings with an otherworldly ambience and to provoke the imagination. They were created by extracting the atmospheres and sound effects from other existing Aponogeton tracks to use them as the basis for these minimal compositions.
